"The Wizard of Oz" is a film on the amazing story of L. Frank Baum "The Wizard of Oz" is based. The special effects are when the film was made (1939) and the amazing story and acting are equally amazing.
Life in Kansas
The film begins in Kansas, probably around the time of the turn of the century. Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) is an orphan girl of about twelve years old, who lives with her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry on a farm. Dorothy is worried because her little dog Toto hadHeck Almira Gulch (Margaret Hamilton, who then described the Wicked Witch of the West) and Dorothy fears the worst. She tries to advice from their three servants Hunk (Ray Bolger, who described below, the scarecrow) to Hickory (Jack Haley, the Tin Man) and Zeke (Burt Lahr, the Cowardly Lion), but do not take their concerns seriously. Almira returns with an order to have Toto destroyed authrorizing sheriff, because they are from places where Toto in a basket and leaveson his bicycle. Toto escapes from the basket and go home, while running away from Miss Gulch. Dorothy decides that he needs to run away with Toto, then runs into the house by Professor Marvel (Frank Morgan, who later played the wizard and other roles). He sneaks a look at a picture of Aunt Em, who is looking into a crystal ball, and Dorothy says he sees her crying, trying to prevent them from escaping. Dorothy and Toto in a hurry then go home. Meanwhile, a storm begins tobe displayed. At that time, Dorothy returns home, everyone is hiding in the cellar storm. Dorothy goes to her room, where the wind blows from the window frame hit his head and knocking her unconscious. He wakes up to find his house away, carried by the cyclone. She looks out the window before you see some people he knows, then she sees Miss Gulch drives his bike and turned into a witch and its motion in a broomstick. Moments later, the house ends up with DorothyToto in Munchkinland, and a wonderful place with small houses, trees, streams (now displayed in bright colors).
Munchkinland
